Plumbly is run by Mike in Brampton, Ontario. This page says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- From plumbers who join: your name, business name, phone, email, and billing details (a payment company handles your card, not us).
- From Google: public facts about your business, like your reviews, photos, services, hours, and the cities you cover.
- From calls and texts on your Plumbly line: the caller's number, the time, and the messages, so we can send texts and make your monthly report.
- From this website: what you type into our form.
- From request-a-time pages: when someone asks a plumber for a time, we keep the name, phone number, address, and problem they typed. We pass it to that plumber so they can reply, and use it for that plumber's monthly report. Nobody else gets it.
Why we collect it
To run Plumbly for you: send the texts, build your site, bill you, and answer your questions. We do not sell your information. Ever.
Who helps us
We use trusted companies to run the service: for phone lines and texts, payments, website hosting, and email. They only get what they need to do their job.
If we emailed you
We may email plumbers whose business email address is published on their own website or Google page, when the message is about their plumbing business. Every email says who we are, gives our mailing address, and has a working way to say no. Read how to stop emails on our unsubscribe page.
Texts to your customers
Every text sent for a plumber says which business it is from. Anyone who replies STOP is not texted again.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we have about you, fix it, or delete it. Email mike@getplumbly.ca and we will reply within 10 business days.
